Stop fighting your kitchen drain
The problem
- Food scraps slip past the old basket and slowly clog the pipe
- Picking soggy scraps out of the drain by hand
- A loose rubber plug, so the sink never holds water
- A sour smell coming up from the drain
- Cheap strainers that rust, crack or turn black
The fix
- A slotted basket catches scraps before they reach the pipe
- Lift the basket by its handle and tip it into the bin
- Press once to seal and fill the sink, press again to drain
- A silicone seal keeps drain smells in the pipe when it's closed
- 304 stainless steel resists rust and won't warp
Press to fill, press to drain
Press the cap once and the drain closes, so you can fill the sink to soak pans or wash vegetables. Press it again and the cap pops up to let the water run out. A spring in the core does the work, so there's no lever or separate plug to deal with.
Catches food scraps before they reach the pipe
• Removable basket – Lift it out by the center handle and tip the scraps into the bin.
• Slotted design – Stops peels, rice and other food bits from washing down and building up into a clog.
• Quick to rinse – Smooth stainless steel rinses clean under running water.

304 stainless steel, inside and out
The body and basket are made of 304 stainless steel, which handles daily water and food contact without rusting or warping the way thin plastic strainers can. The spring core that drives the pop-up is copper.
Sealing rings that keep water in and smells down
The strainer comes with three silicone sealing rings. One sits under the pop-up cap: when the drain is closed, it holds water in the sink and keeps drain smells in the pipe. The two rings on the body are optional. Fit them for a tighter seal in your drain, or leave them off if the strainer already sits snugly.
How to install
1. Measure your drain opening. It should be 75–87 mm (2.95–3.42 in) wide and at least 37 mm (1.46 in) deep.
2. Lift out your old basket strainer.
3. Set the new strainer into the opening so the wide rim rests on the sink.
4. Press the cap a couple of times to check that it closes and opens.
