Fix the bathroom sink that never drains
The problem
- Hair and soap build up until the basin drains slowly
- Fishing slimy gunk out of the drain by hand
- An old pop-up that jams or won't hold water
- Smells coming up from the drain
- Buying chemical drain cleaner again and again
The fix
- Two filter layers catch hair before it reaches the pipe
- Lift the drain out, tip the basket, rinse
- Press once to seal, press again to drain
- A sealing ring keeps smells in the pipe when it's closed
- Stops buildup at the source, so cleaner isn't needed as often
Press to close, press again to drain
Press the cap and it seals the drain so the basin holds water for washing your face or soaking something. Press again and it pops up to let the water out. A sealing ring under the cap also keeps drain smells in the pipe while it's closed. No lever, no chain, no plug to lose.
Two layers of filtering catch hair
Water passes a first filter under the cap, then a 304 stainless steel mesh basket below it. Together they catch hair, toothpaste lumps and other bits before they reach the pipe, which is where most bathroom sink clogs start.
Lift out, tip out, rinse
The whole drain pulls straight out of the basin. Slide off the mesh basket, tip what it caught into the bin and rinse it under the tap. No drain snake and no chemical cleaner needed for everyday buildup.
Brass core, stainless steel mesh
• Brass spring core – The part that does the pressing is solid brass, which handles constant water without rusting.
• 304 stainless steel mesh basket – Fine holes, rinses clean and won't rust.
• Polished chrome-look cap – Matches most bathroom taps and fittings.

How to install
1. Pull your old pop-up or flip plug straight out of the basin drain.
2. Check the opening. It fits best in drain openings about 34–38 mm (1.34–1.50 in) wide.
3. Push the new drain into the opening until it sits flat.
4. Press the cap a couple of times to check that it closes and opens.

Good to know
• Made for bathroom washbasins, not kitchen sinks or bathtubs.
• It replaces the removable plug in your existing drain. If your drain has a fixed crossbar or a lever-operated stopper that can't be pulled out, it may not fit.
• The basket hangs about 60 mm (2.4 in) into the drain, so there needs to be clear space below the opening.
• Empty the basket every week or two so water keeps draining quickly.
• Sold individually: one drain with filter basket.
